Try LitBuy with a small first order

Verdict

Going by its companies register entry, its help center and buyer reviews, LitBuy works like any other agent: it buys, photographs and ships. The risks are the ones every agent has, plus two specific to LitBuy: a company that has only existed in its current form since October 2025, and a Trustpilot profile whose rating was suspended after fake reviews were removed. Pay with PayPal or a card, keep the first parcel small and take the QC photos seriously.

Who is behind LitBuy

  • LITBUY LIMITED, registered in England (Coventry) on 15 October 2025, company no. 16786295.
  • DragonBridge Trading inc, Wyoming, US, also named in the litbuy.com footer.
  • Hong Kong Haini Technology Limited, named in the registration agreement and publisher of the app.
  • The litbuy.com domain exists since 2016; the warehouse location is not published.
  • Official Discord with about 183,000 members; iOS app 4.5 from 352 ratings, Android app 3.6 from 577 reviews.

What LitBuy charges

LitBuy advertises “0 % markup” and a free agent service, plus a customs-declaration charge of about ¥10 per parcel.

The registration agreement in the help center reserves a platform service fee of 8 % on goods and 8 % on shipping. The two statements do not match. Treat the agreement as the binding version and read the order summary line by line before you pay. International shipping is charged separately, by weight, once your parcel is packed.

How LitBuy payment, QC and storage work

  • Payment: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, PayPal (also Amex and JCB through PayPal), PayPal eCheck.
  • QC photos: 3 to 6 photos per item for free when the item arrives, ¥1 per extra photo. More in the QC photo guide.
  • Storage: 90 days free, 120 days at most.
  • Returns: Returns or exchanges within 5 days of the item reaching the warehouse, decided case by case, with one free return within 30 days. Refunds for cancelled or returned items go back to the original payment method.
  • Insurance: Loss or damage is compensated to your LitBuy balance on LitBuy’s own scale if you claim within 7 days of delivery or 45 days of shipment. Delays are not compensated.

LitBuy reviews: what to make of them

Trustpilot shows no TrustScore for litbuy.com: the rating is suspended for a breach of its guidelines, and a number of fake reviews were removed. Of the 587 reviews from the last 12 months, 75 % give five stars and 16 % one star. Given the removed fake reviews, the one-star share is the more useful number. Positive reviews mention smooth checkout and fast QC photos; negative ones are mostly about shipping costs.

On Reddit, the most visible thread is “Litbuy is a scam!” on r/FashionReps (March 2026). Despite the title, it is about billing: a parcel of light items was quoted at a much higher rehearsal weight. A second thread from the same month describes a large haul refused by customs after a wrong weight declaration. LitBuy’s own subreddit, r/LitBuy_Community, is run by staff and is useful for current codes rather than independent opinions.

The most common LitBuy complaints

Shipping billed again after the estimate

You prepay shipping on an estimated weight; LitBuy settles the difference against the actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. A rehearsal parcel for ¥20 gets you a quote on real numbers first.

Surcharges and coupon exclusions

Some reviewers saw a surcharge after the quote, or a shipping coupon that did not cover part of the bill. Only one shipping coupon works per parcel. Check the payment screen before you confirm and ask support if something does not add up.

Slow support and locked accounts

Replies can take time, and refunds only go back to the original payment method. A chargeback with your bank or PayPal locks the LitBuy account, including any orders, parcels and balance still in it. Use the ticket system, keep screenshots and only charge back once you are done with the account.

How to use LitBuy safely

  • Make your first order two or three light items, for example from the T-shirts page.
  • Pay with PayPal or a credit card.
  • Check every QC photo and return problems within the 5-day window.
  • Order a rehearsal before choosing a shipping line for a large parcel.
  • Declare the real value and check the customs rules of your country.
